Many people suffer from insomnia because they have a hectic schedule where they may be up late very late one night, but then try to catch up on sleep by going to bed quite early the next night. Unfortunately, this process confuses the body quite a bit and will cause you to never get a great night of sleep. To consistently get a good night sleep and avoid insomnia, it is important that you go to bed at the same general time each night. Furthermore, you should try and create some rituals, such as taking a bath, prior to bedtime which relax you and can get you ready for bed.
